About Electric Diaphragm Valves
1. The valve is composed of valve body, bonnet, stem, disc, diaphragm, electric device and other driving parts.
2. The opening and closing of the valve is achieved by driving the stem nut by the connecting shaft of the electric device, so that when the stem moves axially, the valve disc will be driven up and down.
3. When the power supply is interrupted due to failure and the valve is in urgent need of opening and closing, the "manual electric switch handle" shall be switched to the position marked with manual mark first, and then the flashing door can be opened and closed by rotating the hand wheel. When rotating clockwise, the valve can be closed; otherwise, it can be opened.
4. When it is necessary to restore the electric operation, the "switch handle" must be changed to the position marked with the electric mark before the electric operation.
Precautions for maintenance, installation and use
1. The valve shall be stored in a dry and ventilated room, and stacking is strictly prohibited.
2. Both ends of the channel of the inventory valve must be sealed to prevent foreign matters from entering the inner cavity and damaging the sealing parts. Avoid contact with oil or other inflammable materials.
3. The metal processing surface of the valve shall be cleaned of dirt and coated with anti rust agent.
4. Do not brush grease on the surface of rubber lining layer or rubber diaphragm to avoid rubber swelling and affecting the service life of valve.
5. During storage or shutdown, turn the hand wheel anticlockwise to keep the valve in micro open state, so as to prevent the diaphragm from losing elasticity due to long-term pressure.
6. During transportation or installation, sling shall not be tied to handwheel or valve rod. It is forbidden to collide with other metals or hard objects to prevent damage to parts and lining String 6
7. Before installation, carefully check whether the operation conditions and medium of the pipeline are consistent with the applicable scope specified by the valve, so as to avoid unnecessary loss due to improper selection and accident.
8. In addition to being unsuitable for vacuum pipeline, the valve can be installed at any position of the pipeline for two-way flow, but the convenience of operation and maintenance shall be ensured.
9. During installation, the inner cavity of the valve body shall be cleaned to prevent dirt from blocking or damaging the sealing parts, and check whether the connecting bolts of all parts are evenly tightened.
10. During operation, the parts in contact with the medium must be checked frequently, and the vulnerable parts shall be replaced regularly according to the actual use.
11. When it is necessary to change the diaphragm, be careful not to screw the diaphragm too tight or loose.
12. If the valve is applied to the intermittent operation pipeline, the contact part with the medium shall be cleaned during the period of stopping use to extend the service life.
13. When operating the longitudinal valve manually, the auxiliary lever shall not be used to open and close the valve, so as to avoid damaging the driving parts or sealing parts due to excessive torque.
14. Before the application of the repaired valve, the tightness test shall be carried out according to the relevant test regulations, and the valve can be installed only after it is qualified. And make maintenance records for future reference.
